Four A4 parenting in pictures for young Aboriginal parents

Seven illustration-based advice sheets on aspects of parenting babies, children and youth. Each Parenting in Pictures resource is a one A4 page of nine picture frames that speak to both the heart and the lived experience. Text is minimal.

The Parenting in Pictures – 7 illustrated parenting resources for young Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and CALD parents resources are an accessible source of evidence-based information to help improve outcomes for children. These resources were created for family, health and community workers and educators to use with parents and students.

These  illustrated sheets are clear, accurate and reflect real lived experience. They are readily downloaded and are suitable for teachers and family workers working with  young parents, especially for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and services and for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.

These seven on-line Parenting in Pictures resources were developed for and with the Parenting Research Centre by Black Wattle Consulting for the Raising Children Network website.  They are may be downloaded in PDF format. The PDF image resolution will be improved shortly (when the Raising Children Network upgrades its website)
